I guess if I were in your shoes, I'd be ready to be done with it, too. The Man was saying "Do you HAVE to listen to Christmas music ALL THE TIME?!" ... ON CHRISTMAS! He was met with shocked and disappointed faces from his family. I'm just not ready. I don't know if it's because the cookies (or WhiskeyMarie's Gravity Theory) are weighing me down and making me lazy or what, but I don't want to be done with seeing Christmas lights when I drive through my neighborhood after work. Or people being nice for the sake of Christmas. Whew. I guess if I were in your shoes, I’d be ready to be done with it, too.

We'll have Mom here with us until New Year's day--so we're still enjoying the gabfests around the kitchen table and playing Scrabble and Yahtzee and doing crossword puzzles before she returns to the nursing home.
